As much as the bleachers provide a place to sit, most spectators find themselves standing to watch some of the most exciting auto racing of the year and cheering their heads off.
The Oval Track races are entering into their 14th year of action with racers around the state marking this event on their calendars far in advance. There are some fierce rivalries forged to be resolved and you won't want to miss out on this action.
Figure 8 races, which have been around for nearly 20 years now, always guarantees thrills and chills right from the 'Start your engines' ringing throughout the Grandstand.
The ultimate grand finale' to the Fair is the Demo Derby at the end of the Fair weekend, a tradition started many years ago. The Grandstand fills for this smash'em crash'em endurance run.

COMO POINT SERIES OVAL RACES
June – Pre-register by June or register at the gate. Fee: $40 per car per race (car and driver).
July – Pre-register by July or register at the gate. This will be held at the Aitkin County Fair. Fee: $40 per car per race (car and driver).

Friday, August 17 – Pre-register by August 15 by 3 pm. Failure to do so will result in a double fee on Race Day. Fee: $40 per car per race (car and driver) to be paid by 3:00 p.m. and includes admission to the Fair for the driver, race day only. Crewmembers must pay to get into the Fair.
